Our Story
My bourbon journey began about four years ago—but the passion truly caught fire in early 2024. That’s when I started seriously chasing whiskey, and I haven’t looked back since.
It all started when I was a teenager, introduced to bourbon by my uncle. He had a love for whiskey that we shared during the holidays over eggnog and on the golf course with Jim Beam Apple. Those moments planted the seed.v
Years later, I met my next-door neighbor, and everything changed. He asked if I liked whiskey—and while I said yes, I had no idea the path I was about to go down. He welcomed me into his world of whiskey shares and taught me everything: proof, bourbon vs. whiskey, Bottled-in-Bond, barrel strength, finished whiskey—you name it.
That’s when the hunt began.
I found myself chasing bottles, snapping photos, and sending videos of my finds. Sharing became part of the fun—and that inspired me to take it a step further. I launched a YouTube channel to document my hunts and eventually started reviewing the whiskeys I loved.
Then came distillery tours, private barrel picks, and sharing pours with new friends.
What started as a hobby turned into a thriving community. We began hosting bottle shares, started a Facebook group, and launched a Patreon. Today, we’re picking our own barrels and building something bigger than I ever imagined.
