A rich, sweet and nutty whiskey with layers of caramel, tobacco and leather and a beautifully developed barrel character.

Nose: Caramel corn, roasted nuts and a deep, darker sweetness.

Palate: Thick and sweet with rich caramel, leather, tobacco and roasted nuttiness.

Finish: Kraft caramels and lingering nuttiness with a slightly leathery texture.

Aging: Initially aged 3 years, 200 days in new Kelvin Cooperage oak with a Heavy Char / Light Toast. It was then transferred into a used Casey Jones Bourbon cask that previously held their 96% corn, 3% rye, 1% malted barley bourbon and aged for an additional 4 years.

Total Age: 7 years, 6 months.
